When I first heard this audio and arrived at the judgment scenes of the five friends, I was on my face in front of God asking for mercy to endure to the end.
I was absolutely terrified with the fear of the Lord…I can’t ever remember being so frightened, then or since.
The Final Judgment of Jesus on our whole life…an extremely sobering thought. Jesus proclaimed every action, every deed, and…every thought…would come up before Him in a test of fire. The only exception would be those sins remembered no more previous to initial salvation. Unless, of course, we fall away from the faith then the last state is worse than the first. He who endures to the very end will be saved from the wrath to come.
His holy Word talks about “the great and terrible day of the Lord.”
One of the most successful schemes of evil Satan against all humans, especially church goers, is the lie there’s no judgment of our whole life by King Jesus. How many messages, if any, have you ever heard warning, admonishing, and exhorting believers that every word and deed will be revealed at the judgment seat of Jesus Christ?
See then how Satan deceives the masses…and the leaders of God’s children worldwide. What is the best single Scripture to illustrate this great truth?
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Therefore, knowing the fear (terror) of the Lord, we persuade men… 2 Corinthians 5:10-11 (NASB)
We all owe a great debt to John Bevere, the passionate teacher who leads Messenger International out of the Colorado Springs area. When he wrote his retort Driven By Eternity to combat Rick Warren’s deceptive best seller Purpose Driven Life, brother John also created Affabel, an allegory of life on earth and the judgment of the Lord Jesus just before final eternity as we hope to enter heaven.
Join the majestic King Jalyn (Jesus), the wise Sageous (Holy Spirit), the dark lord Dagon (Satan), the war correspondent reporter Peter, Bible school teacher Double Life, and the five friends who attended school together in Endel: Deceived, Independent, Selfish, Charity, and Faint Heart who each believe they are secure in their eternal destiny. Explore the wondrous lands of the Kingdom of Affabel (Heaven), the community of Endel (Earth) and the terrible outer limits of Lone (Hell)!
See what happens to Charity, the sacrificial restaurant owner; Independent, the self-confident one; Deceived, the shady and carnal business dealer; Selfish, the compromising mayor of Endel; Faint Heart, the woman who just can’t forgive her offender; and Double Life, their teacher at the Bible school in Endel. And you’ll be challenged in the Great Hall of Judgment as each human being has their entire life replayed in the very presence of the King of kings, and LORD of Lords.
Why does Sageous declare “All will be revealed in time” over and over to the people as they wonder about their fate and those of the others?
And what will Peter, the war correspondent reporter, make of the startling discovery at the ancient tree in the closing seconds of the story: the carved initials of the five friends when they attended school together in Endel…DISCF.
A note: we vehemently disagree with author and brother John on his assessment of the rich in God’s eyes as Faint Heart is summoned to the Great Judgment Hall. The holy Scripture is crystal clear that any more than basic food and covering constituents as the pursuit of greed as we flee from its snare (1 Tim. 6-11, Matt. 6.19-33, Matt. 12.41-44, etc. etc), that greed is idolatry (Col. 3.5), and idolaters do not inherit eternal life (1 Cor. 6.9-10). The apostle Paul proclaimed economic equality was Gods’ command to his church plant the wealthy Corinthians (2 Cor. 8.13-14) as they continued to ignore the famine amongst believers in Jerusalem.
Now…
Prepare to have your life changed forever…we again thank brother John and his ministry for this eternal treasure and what it must do to warn and prepare us for “that day…”

May God’s grace by His Holy Spirit reveal His love, righteousness, conviction, and the coming wrath and judgment. You must strive to enter through the narrow gate (Matt. 7.13-14) by fighting the good fight of faith (1 Tim. 6.12). You who are hated by all for His name’s sake must endure to the end to be finally saved (Matt. 10.22).

Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6 NLT The living at least know they will die, but the dead know nothing. They have no further reward, nor are they remembered. Whatever they did in their lifetime—loving, hating, envying—is all long gone. They no longer play a part in anything here on earth.

The Judgment of Selfish – Scripture Verses
Proverbs 16:2 NKJV All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the spirits.
Isaiah 62:2 NKJV The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, And all kings your glory. You shall be called by a new name, Which the mouth of the Lord will name.
Revelation 2:17 NKJV He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.
Revelation 3:12 NKJV He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.
Luke 14:12-14 NKJV Then He also said to him who invited Him, When you give a dinner or a supper, do not ask your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you back, and you be repaid. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind. And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just.
Luke 21:3 NKJV So He said, Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all
Mark 12:43, 44 GNT He called his disciples together and said to them, “I tell you that this poor widow put more in the offering box than all the others. For the others put in what they had to spare of their riches; but she, poor as she is, put in all she had—she gave all she had to live on.

Ezekiel 13:10, 11 NIV Because they lead my people astray, saying, “Peace,” when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash, therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash that it is going to fall. Rain will come in torrents, and I will send hailstones hurtling down, and violent winds will burst forth.
1 Corinthians 3:12-15 NLT Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials—gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw. But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value. If the work survives, that builder will receive a reward. But if the work is burned up, the builder will suffer great loss. The builder will be saved, but like someone barely escaping through a wall of flames.
Matthew 12:36, 37 GNT You can be sure that on the Judgment Day you will have to give account of every useless word you have ever spoken. Your words will be used to judge you—to declare you either innocent or guilty.

Titus 1:16 NKJV They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.
Luke 6:46 GNT Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and yet don’t do what I tell you?
Matthew 7:22, 23 GNT When the Judgment Day comes, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! In your name we spoke God’s message, by your name we drove out many demons and performed many miracles!’ Then I will say to them, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you wicked people!’
James 2:14-20 NKJV What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, Depart in peace, be warmed and filled, but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
Ezekiel 33:14-16 GNT I may warn someone evil that he is going to die, but if he stops sinning and does what is right and good— for example, if he returns the security he took for a loan or gives back what he stole—if he stops sinning and follows the laws that give life, he will not die, but live. I will forgive the sins he has committed, and he will live because he has done what is right and good.
Psalm 50:16-21 NLT But God says to the wicked: “Why bother reciting my decrees and pretending to obey my covenant? For you refuse my discipline and treat my words like trash. When you see thieves, you approve of them, and you spend your time with adulterers. Your mouth is filled with wickedness, and your tongue is full of lies. You sit around and slander your brother— your own mother’s son. While you did all this, I remained silent, and you thought I didn’t care. But now I will rebuke you, listing all my charges against you.
Matthew 22:13 NKJV Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Proverbs 30:12 NKJV There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, Yet is not washed from its filthiness.
The Judgment of Faint Heart – Scripture Verses:
Matthew 24:12, 13 GNT Such will be the spread of evil that many people’s love will grow cold. But whoever holds out to the end will be saved.
2 Peter 2:20, 21 GNT If people have escaped from the corrupting forces of the world through their knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and then are again caught and conquered by them, such people are in worse condition at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been much better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than to know it and then turn away from the sacred command that was given them.
Ezekiel 18:24-27 GNT But if a righteous person stops doing good and starts doing all the evil, disgusting things that evil people do, will he go on living? No! None of the good he did will be remembered. He will die because of his unfaithfulness and his sins. But you say, ‘What the Lord does isn’t right.’ Listen to me, you Israelites. Do you think my way of doing things isn’t right? It is your way that isn’t right. When a righteous person stops doing good and starts doing evil and then dies, he dies because of the evil he has done. When someone evil stops sinning and does what is right and good, he saves his life.
Revelation 3:5 NASB He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

The Judgment of Double Life – Scripture Verses:
Hebrews 10:26, 27 NLT Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies.
James 3:1 NLT Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly.
Mark 9:42 NKJV But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.
Luke 12:45-48 NLT But what if the servant thinks, ‘My master won’t be back for a while,’ and he begins beating the other servants, partying, and getting drunk? The master will return unannounced and unexpected, and he will cut the servant in pieces and banish him with the unfaithful. And a servant who knows what the master wants, but isn’t prepared and doesn’t carry out those instructions, will be severely punished. But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.
Jude 1:13 GNT They are like wild waves of the sea, with their shameful deeds showing up like foam. They are like wandering stars, for whom God has reserved a place forever in the deepest darkness.

Revelation 16:5-7 GNT I heard the angel in charge of the waters say, “The judgments you have made are just, O Holy One, you who are and who were! They poured out the blood of God’s people and of the prophets, and so you have given them blood to drink. They are getting what they deserve!” Then I heard a voice from the altar saying, “Lord God Almighty! True and just indeed are your judgments!
The Judgment of Charity – Scripture Verses:
Matthew 25:21, 34-40 NKJV His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You? And the King will answer and say to them, Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.

Luke 14:11 AMP For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled (ranked below others who are honored or rewarded), and he who humbles himself (keeps a modest opinion of himself and behaves accordingly) will be exalted (elevated in rank).
Luke 19:17 NLT ‘Well done!’ the king exclaimed. ‘You are a good servant. You have been faithful with the little I entrusted to you, so you will be governor of ten cities as your reward.’
Revelation 2:26, 27 NIV To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations— that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’—just as I have received authority from my Father.
Matthew 25:21 NKJV His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.
