The latest evangelism with the Atheist encounter turned out well thanks to your prayers! You may recall his wife joined us too, and I met their young son as he cooled his heels inside the coffee shop. Two hours of discussion and debate…
Well, the wife, also an atheist, asked humble, insightful, probing questions of Jesus Christ and the real Christian walk…about God, the role of women, hell, etc. She never attacked me. They both looked convicted…and thoughtful. I was very encouraged…
I told them again they had been lied to and deceived by the American gospel and the institution that mostly promotes AT’s (accumulated teachers) that tickle the ears, puts cheeks in seats (or by TV remote), and collects vast sums of money.
She actually backed me up when the husband made a couple of baiting and snide assaults as I called him on account re: that disrespectful behavior! He actually backed off and apologized once. Wow… good job Holy Spirit!
More later about this on a video we hope to produce –
They both wanted to meet again…so this is the week. Great news!
And we have a breakfast date set for this Saturday 2-15 – it was the wife’s idea to meet again and in this fashion. IHOP for pancakes…and the kingdom gospel of Jesus Christ.
The preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing…pray please.
Pray specifically for:
- Spiritual protection from demons and full conviction that His true truth will break through.
- God confounds the illogical arguments and approach of the husband.
- The repent, surrender, demons are cast out, and they get baptized on the spot!
Blessings, dear ones! Thanks for standing with me.
