LESSONS FROM THE LAND – PART 1 [FROM MY HEART TO YOURS 4]

By Sandy White, Director, Walk Worthy Beloved friends, This is from Chapter 2 of a book that I started several years ago. It is a series of Life Lessons that the Lord has taught me using the metaphors of daily life experiences.  The first chapter was Lessons from the Lane.  I have divided this chapter into 3 parts for easier reading.    (Since it is a bit lengthy, you may want to print it out for easier reading.) Jesus promised His friends, called disciples and slaves, that through many tribulations they would enter the kingdom of heaven. The same is true today, saints, as it was when our brother Horatio Spafford and his wife from Chicago lost their 4 young daughters  in the waters of the icy Atlantic over 125 years ago. How in the world does anybody survive and give thanks after a stunning event like that? Jesus…   Here is a compelling story and song of tragedy, tribulation, perseverance, faith, and eventual triumph through God’s son. The story follows below this short introduction and the song link. You may download to use for your edification and pass on… My dear wife Sandy has a wonderful soprano voice and has ministered to thousands in song and exhortation over the last 50+ years.  We thank her for her labor in His vineyard through this way, and the tenderness [...]
